Round 8 is ANZAC Round, with a special ceremony to take place prior to kick-off on Sunday.

The match also represents Alex Twal's 150th NRL appearance.

Cronulla currently sits in sixth spot on the competition ladder with a 4-3 record after the first seven rounds, while the home side’s record reads 3-4.

In team news, Luke Laulilii is out this week, with Brent Naden moving to the wing in his place.

The Sharks have made just one change to their side, with Tuku Hau Tapuha joining the interchange bench to replace Toby Rudolf, who is out for 6-8 weeks with an ankle injury.
