Halfback Max Liles scored a hat-trick in the win, which was the first of three victories for Wests Tigers/Magpies sides on Sunday in Newcastle.
Two big right-foot steps allowed Liles to collect the first points of the afternoon after 15 minutes, before Josese Lanyon burrowed his way over from dummy half.
At 12-0, Wests Tigers went on to extend their lead through one of the most incredible tries you will ever see. Tino Tavana leaped into the air to collect an Iverson Matai cross-field with one hand before coming down with the ball in a truly outstanding effort.

Knights fullback, Toby Winter, scored just before half-time to make it 16-6 at the break.
Harley Walker gave Wests Tigers a scare when he scored for Newcastle in the 50th minute, however, Liles then took control for the visitors with two consecutive tries.
The No. 7 scored in almost identical fashion in quick succession to secure victory for Wests Tigers, as he stepped off his left foot before powering his way to the line.

A late try by Newcastle winger Mason Forbes made the score 30-16, which it remained at full-time at McDonald Jones Stadium in Round 6.
Wests Tigers 30 (Liles 3, Lanyon, Tavana tries; Craig 5/6 goals) defeated Knights 16 (Winter, Walker, Forbes tries; Gray 2/2 goals, Williams 0/1 goals) at McDonald Jones Stadium.
