Wests Tigers are proud to announce the launch of the Empower Club Ambassador Program, connecting NRL stars to grassroots league.

Each Wests Tigers player has been assigned a Junior League club to represent for the season, making them true ambassadors of their respective grassroots footy teams.
The players will be involved in training sessions, presentations, and special events at their respective junior league clubs, helping to encourage participation and growth for their affiliated teams.
The Empower Club Ambassador Program also helps to show junior league players that the pathway to NRL is an attainable goal, with the likes of Lachlan Galvin (Eagle Vale St Andrews), Tallyn Da Silva (East Campbelltown Eagles) and Adam Doueihi (Strathfield Raiders) all returning to represent their junior league clubs.

Some of the younger collective of the Wests Tigers NRL squad only finished playing for their respective junior clubs a handful of years ago, with the transition into top-level league often being a rapid rise.
Mentorship from NRL players who were in similar positions to them just a few years prior will prove invaluable to some of our junior league stars.
The pride these Wests Tigers first-graders display in getting back to grassroots league will provide a huge boost to thousands of young footy stars in Wests Tigers’ Pathways regions.

The program services 33 junior league teams across Wests Tigers’ catchment areas and will engage with around 9,000 players across the Wests Macarthur, Balmain, and Group 6 regions.
Further developing the junior league-to-NRL relationship is critical to building stronger connections between Wests Tigers and the grassroots clubs in our region.
