Wests Tigers have scored their second victory of the Jersey Flegg Cup season, after coming away with a 38-14 win over Manly at 4 Pines Park.

After leading 22-10 at the break, the visitors produced a strong second period to come away with the win.
Sea Eagles centre Oliver Lawry opened the scoring for the match before an incredible try to five-eighth Iverson Matai provided points for Wests Tigers. The skilful half stepped and swerved his way through countless Manly defenders to race 65 m for their first four-pointer of the match.
A silky inside ball from Levi Conti then allowed fullback Cameron Kanaan to slice through before the halfback came up with more Wests Tigers points off the back of his kicking game. The former Balmain junior rep player grubbered the ball through for Mitch Taotua, who planted it down to make it 14-4 after 28 minutes.
Solomone Saukuru proved too strong close to the line for another Tigers try, with Will Craig going on to cross on the end of a right-side shift to make it 22-10 at half-time.
The away team started the second stanza with a bang too, as Heith Pritchard backed up a Kanaan line-break for a sixth Wests Tigers try.
To cap off an outstanding performance, Kanaan then set Te Umuariki Heremia-Tukere up in the left corner before racing 45 m for a solo try of his own to seal a 38-14 victory for Wests Tigers.
