Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that Faythe Manera, Caitlin Turnbull and Lily Rogan will join the club for the 2025 NRLW season.

The trio have all signed two-year deals until the end of the 2026 season.

Manera is a 21-year-old half from a rugby union background, who will join Wests Tigers at the conclusion of the 2025 Super Rugby Women’s season with Queensland Reds.

She was also a regular in the Australian Rugby Sevens setup, making her debut for the national side in 2022.

Manera is extremely excited to try her hand at the 13-player game.

“I’m really grateful to have the opportunity to sign with Wests Tigers for the upcoming NRLW season.

“Coming from a rugby union background, I’m excited to step out of my comfort zone and give this new challenge a red hot crack.

“The coaching staff and club have been so welcoming already. I’m really looking forward to getting down to Sydney come May 12th, meeting all the girls and getting right into pre-season.”

Lily Rogan is a young centre who at just 21 years old, captained the Illawarra Steelers to premiership glory in last season’s Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership.

She made her NRLW debut in 2023 for the Sydney Roosters and is excited by the prospect of more top flight action.

“I’m super excited to have signed with Wests Tigers, I really feel like I’m surrounded by people that are really passionate about this team.

“You can feel that at training, they want the best out of you and know how to get it.

“The girls and staff have been super welcoming and made it an easy transition. Training has already been super competitive and I love that."

Turnbull is a 23-year-old outside back who captained the Wentworthville Magpies in the 2024 Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership.

A product of the Monaro region, she began her rugby league career with the Monaro Colts.

“I’m really pleased to have signed with Wests Tigers and to play alongside such an amazing group of girls.

“I’m excited to have the opportunity to grow as a player and learn from some of the best players and coaches in the league."

The NRLW season kicks off in July, with an away match against the Broncos awaiting Wests Tigers in Round 1.
