Wests Tigers trio sign on for 2025

Wests Tigers trio, Montana Clifford, Chelsea Savill and Claudia Brown have signed one-season extensions to remain with Wests Tigers in 2025.

All three players made their NRLW debuts for the club in 2024 and impressed when included in the lineup.

Clifford joined the squad as an injury replacement player last season and lined up at second row on four occasions after debuting in Round 5.

Her brutal defence on the edge was a standout feature of her play and she has been rewarded with a one-year extension into 2025.

“I’m extremely grateful and excited to have extended my time here at Wests Tigers,” said Clifford.

“Building off the back of last year and the energy we ended with, we really are looking to build something special.

Clifford: So very grateful

“I am certainly looking forward to being back in Sydney and hitting the ground running with the girls come May 12th [start of pre-season].”

Chelsea Savill is a former NSW U/19s representative who played three games from the interchange bench at hooker, including our two late-season wins over the Dragons and Sharks.

At just 19 years old, the Illawarra junior is one of the club’s most impressive young talents.

“I’m really excited to re-sign with the club again, I think we are definitely building towards something better this year,” said Savill.

“I think for myself, last year was a big development year, so I’m keen to take my game to a new level in 2025.”

Claudia Brown’s two NRLW matches to date were the club’s 2025 victories in Rounds 8 and 9.

Another NSW U/19’s representative, the forward also made her debut for Samoa in November’s Pacific Championships campaign.

“I’m super grateful for this club and the opportunities they continue to give to me,” said Brown.
