2025 Community Blitz a success

Wests Tigers players visited schools across Sydney on Monday for the annual Community Blitz.

Across the Southwest and Inner West of the city, players and Wests Tigers Empower staff helped deliver skills clinics and participated in Q&A sessions for primary school students.

43 schools were visited over the course of the day, as the club engaged with around 6000 students.

In a particularly special moment, Lachlan Galvin returned to his primary school, Oran Park Public School, where he was mobbed by countless students.

The 19-year-old was grateful for the opportunity to get back to his roots.

“It’s been mad, coming back to my primary school at any time is really cool,” said Galvin.

“We’re giving kids knowledge about how they can be at their best and getting around the community.

“The kids are really loving it.”

The Community Blitz is one of the many key programs delivered by Wests Tigers Empower throughout the year.
