Thrive or Survive: Inside the Wests Tigers’ Toughest Pre-Season

Wests Tigers have been on a mission to rebuild and redefine what it means to wear orange, black, and white.

Now, under the leadership of club legend Benji Marshall, they face their greatest challenge yet.

Thrive or Survive - a gripping two-part documentary series - pulls back the curtain on the team’s brutal three-day leadership camp.

This isn’t just another pre-season grind; it’s a test of heart, resilience, and the ability to lead when everything is against you. This camp isn’t about who’s the fastest or the fittest - it’s about who stands tall when the pressure is at its peak. It’s about who thrives when exhaustion, adversity, and uncertainty push them to the edge.

With challenges designed to break even the toughest competitors, the players are forced to dig deep. Every drill and every moment of struggle reveals something greater than physical endurance - it unveils the mental toughness and leadership required to compete at the highest level.

Leadership isn’t given – it’s earned in the hardest moments. This pre-season is about more than just preparing for a new year - it’s about setting a new tone.

Under Coach Benji Marshall’s guidance, the message is clear: the past doesn’t define us - how we respond does. Senior players rise to the challenge, new leaders emerge, and the team discovers that true success isn’t about individual effort. It’s about the power of the collective.

Brought to you in partnership with Pepper Money, Thrive or Survive isn’t just a documentary; it’s a testament to the relentless pursuit of excellence. Like the Tigers, Pepper Money champions resilience, leadership, and pushing beyond limits. This collaboration reflects our shared vision of helping people succeed by providing opportunities and support to achieve their goals.

Thrive or Survive will be sent to Members First via email at 5 pm and will officially premiere at 6 pm on YouTube.
