Wests Tigers are pleased to confirm that Tristan Hope has been upgraded to a Development contract for the 2025 season.

The 27-year-old hooker joined the club on a train-and-trial contract ahead of the 2025 pre-season and his efforts have been rewarded with an upgrade.
As a result of his elevation to Development player status, Hope has been selected to make his club debut from the interchange bench in Friday’s Round 1 match against the Knights at Campbelltown.
Hope was a key member of the Brisbane Tigers Queensland Cup premiership-winning side in 2023 alongside fellow Wests Tigers Development player Solomona Faataape.
The Toowoomba product has played 69 games in the Queensland Cup competition since debuting for Redcliffe in 2018.
He impressed in two Pre-Season Challenge matches for Wests Tigers in 2025, scoring a try in the recent win over the Eels at Leichhardt Oval.

“I’d like to thank Benji and the team for this upgrade and will continue to work hard to make my family and team proud”, said Hope after signing his new contract.
“I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings.”
Wests Tigers NRL Head Coach Benji Marshall praised Hope’s efforts since joining the club.
Tristan has earned this upgrade and should be proud of his achievement.
