Some of Wests Tigers’ more experienced players were joined by two new recruits upon their return to pre-season training on Monday.

The likes of Api Koroisau, Alex Seyfarth (who returned to pre-season a week ahead of schedule) and Justin Olam all returned to the fold for week 3 of pre-season, as did fresh faces, Jack Bird and Royce Hunt.
Bird and Hunt sweated it out in their first appearances in Wests Tigers colours, with the pair adding a wealth of NRL experience to the 2025 squad.
Bird spoke with enthusiasm after his first session.
“I'm just excited to be here,” the 29-year-old said.
“Obviously it's a change, new scenery for myself but I'm looking forward to helping build the culture here.
"They're all a good bunch of lads, so I'm looking forward to working with them.”

Hunt, who reported for pre-season three weeks early, also wants to be a leader for the club’s young brigade.
“I’ve come in a bit early to get amongst the boys, which I'll be better for it,” said the Samoan international.
“We've got a lot of young forwards, so I want to try and get in early and do what I can to help them out.
“We'll build that bond early so we can hit the ground running next year."
