White Cubs away trip a success

The Wests Tigers White Cubs (U/16s) side’s trip to Northern NSW has proven hugely successful after they emerged 34-0 winners over the Future Titans on Monday night.

Arriving at their Lennox Head base on Saturday, the squad participated in several team bonding sessions throughout the weekend, as players from all Wests Tigers pathways regions came together under the Cubs banner.

The visiting Cubs proved too strong in their match against the Titans, with Jhevon Lele, Siotame Havea Jr. and Bill Antonopoulos just a handful of the standouts in a well-rounded team effort.

"We were really pleased with the attitude and commitment the boys showed during the match and throughout their whole time together as a group," said Pathways and Junior Recruitment Manager, Shannon Gallant.

"It's been great to bring players from different areas of the Wests Tigers Pathways program together as one group and this experience will be really beneficial for these boys as we look towards 2025."

The Cubs program is designed to help players transition to the next phase of their rugby league development after the conclusion of the junior representative seasons.

Wests Tigers Pathways will now begin looking towards the 2025 season with ‘summer squads’ to be announced shortly.
