White Cubs travel to Northern NSW

The Wests Tigers White Cubs (U/16s) side has made the trip to Northern NSW on Saturday, as they prepare to take on the Future Titans at Piggabeen Sports Complex, Tweed.

The Cubs and Roar programs help to further develop the club’s pathways talent after the junior representative seasons have concluded.

An initial squad of 30 was selected to train in Sydney for four weeks before being whittled down further, with a 20-player squad making the trip up north.

Several team bonding sessions have been scheduled for the players both before and following their match on Monday, as players from all of Wests Tigers’ pathways regions come together under the Cubs banner.

After last year’s match against the Titans ended in a heart-breaking defeat on the buzzer, this team of local juniors will look to secure victory in 2024.
