Match Preview: NRLW Round 6 vs Knights

Wests Tigers will make the trip up the M1 to Newcastle in Round 6 to take on the two-time defending NRLW Premiers in a Sunday afternoon blockbuster.

The visitors will be looking to score their first victory of the NRLW season after falling to defeat against the Broncos last weekend, while the Knights sit with a 3-2 win-loss record and were too strong for the Eels in Round 5.

There is just one forced change to the Wests Tigers lineup for this clash, as centre Rikeya Horne has been ruled out due to HIA protocols.

Horne will be replaced by the versatile Shaianne McGlone, who has featured at second row in her four previous NRLW appearances to date.

The Knights have also made one alteration to their team, with utility Grace Kukutai replacing Viena Tinao on the interchange bench.

Newcastle halfback Jesse Southwell has been named on an extended bench as she looms closer to making a comeback from a head knock suffered in Round 4.
