Match Report: Jersey Flegg Cup Round 25 vs Sea Eagles

Wests Tigers have kept their Jersey Flegg Cup finals hopes alive after scoring a 23-22 win over Manly on Saturday afternoon.

In a thrilling affair at Lidcombe Oval, Wests Tigers led by four points at the break, before having to come from behind to secure a narrow victory.

After a grinding start to the first half, the deadlock was broken after 25 minutes through 17-year-old outside back Heamasi Makasini, who scored in the left corner.

The Wests Magpies Harold Matthews Cup graduate scored on debut after being awarded the Player of the Series award for the U/17s competition earlier this year.
