Match Preview: NRLW Round 3 vs Roosters

In Round 3 of the NRLW, Wests Tigers travel to Gosford to face the Roosters on Saturday morning.

The Tricolours sit with a 1-1 record to open their campaign, narrowly losing to the Knights in the first match of this season’s competition, before overcoming the Broncos last Sunday.

Wests Tigers will be out to score their first victory of 2024 after falling short against the Raiders and Titans in the opening rounds.

The visiting Wests Tigers have once again named an unchanged 22-player squad in the hopes that their developing combinations will bear fruit.

Fans saw a glimpse of their attacking ability last Saturday when co-captain Kezie Apps put Losana Lutu away, with the 20-year-old halfback stepping through countless Gold Coast defenders on her way to the line.

For the Roosters, there is just one change with Jocelyn Kelleher starting at lock and Aliyah Nasio moving to the interchange bench.

In last season’s corresponding fixture between the two sides, the Roosters emerged 48-10 winners at Allianz Stadium.
