Wests Tigers centre Justin Olam requires surgery on both knees and will miss the remainder of the 2024 NRL season.
After undergoing an extensive medical review, Olam has been booked in for surgery this week.
The PNG international has made 13 appearances in his first season at the club.
Olam was due to contest the grading of grade 3 careless high tackle charge at the NRL judiciary, however, that will no longer be happening.
Considering the impending surgery, the club has pleaded ‘no contest’, meaning Olam will serve a four-match suspension.
