Judiciary: Round 22 vs Cowboys

Wests Tigers are fighting to have the grading of the charge handed to Justin Olam reduced, following his send-off against the Cowboys on Thursday night at Leichhardt Oval.

Olam was given his marching orders 10 minutes into the second half for a high tackle on North Queensland second-rower Heilum Luki.

He was subsequently charged with a Grade 3 Careless High Tackle.

Wests Tigers are pleading guilty to the charge but are fighting to have the grading reduced.

"We're going to fight this for Justin and for our club," said CEO Shane Richardson.

"We believe the severity of the grading is harsh and we are going to do what we can to have this reduced.

"It's about fighting for what you believe is right, and so that's what we are doing."
