Match: Rabbitohs v Wests Tigers
Round 3 -
home Team
Rabbitohs
away Team
Wests Tigers
Venue: Redfern Oval, Sydney
With Souths posting the first points of this Round 3 fixture with an early try to Jenaye Collins, Wests Tigers quickly hit back through centre Josie Lenaz.
Lenaz, who was more known for her time as a winger in the club’s inaugural NRLW season, showed good footwork to score herself, with Rebecca Pollard looming in support outside her.

Turzah Donovan was next to cross for the home side but Darcy Eade ensured Wests Tigers levelled proceedings at 10-10.
Eade, who played in Illawarra’s 2024 Tarsha Gale Cup premiership-winning team, scored from about 20m out, showcasing a quality step on her way to the line.
Donovan grabbed a second shortly before the break, with Souths leading 16-10 at half-time.

Both teams scored a try each in the second stanza, with Sian Filipo getting over for the Rabbitohs and teenage fullback Tiana-Lee Thorne scoring her third try in as many games this season for Wests Tigers.
The full-time score read 20-14 in favour of the Rabbitohs, with Wests Tigers still in search of their first victory of the 2024 season.
