This team is vastly different from the one that went down to the Sharks in their competition opener, with many players featuring on that day set to play in this weekend’s NRLW trial in Brisbane.
In the absence of the likes of Sophie Curtain, Jessica Kennedy and Tess Staines, a number of new faces will make their first appearance at senior level.
Ellie Barnett and Lucyannah Luamanu-Leiataua are two who will make the step up to NSW Women’s Premiership football, with the pair featuring in this season’s Lisa Fiaola Cup (U/17s) Grand Final earlier this year.
