Match Report: Jersey Flegg Cup Round 17 vs Panthers

Wests Tigers Jersey Flegg Cup team has fallen to a 62-0 defeat to the Panthers in Round 17 at Lidcombe Oval.

With neither side posting points in the opening stages of the contest, Bayden Moran’s try opened the floodgates for Penrith after 14 minutes.

Further four-pointers to Siotame Hansen, Jett Cleary and a first-half double from Jaxen Edgar put the visitors ahead 28-0 at the break.

Penrith’s dominant display continued early in the second stanza, with Aston Warwick, Samuel Lane and Jakeb Vailalo’s scores furthering the Panthers lead.

Tries to Poutoa Hotere-Papalii, his brother Angelis, and Francis Manuleleua secured a big win for the mountain men, with the full-time score reading 62-0.
