Simpkin released from contract

Wests Tigers has agreed to release Jake Simpkin from the remaining portion of the final year of his contract, paving the way for a new deal with Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.

The 22-year-old hooker, in his fourth season at Wests Tigers, has played 41 NRL games for the club in that period.

Wests Tigers CEO Shane Richardson has thanked Jake for his efforts over the past few years.
