Wests Magpies coach Aaron Payne has named his squad for Saturday’s season opener against the Raiders in Canberra.

The squad boasts a handful of players from Wests Tigers NRL top-30, including hookers Jake Simpkin and Tallyn Da Silva, as well as off-season recruit Solomon Alaimalo.
Other players with NRL experience in the line-up include development contract player Kit Laulilii, fellow Campbelltown junior Justin Matamua, and former Canterbury Bulldogs centre Declan Casey.
This will be Payne’s first match in charge of the Magpies in the Knock On Effect NSW Cup.
