To'a adds two more years

Wests Tigers is delighted to announce a further contract extension for 23-year-old centre, Starford To’a.

To’a has added an additional two years to his current deal, meaning he’ll be with the club until at least the end of 2026.

To’a has played 39 games in his two seasons at Wests Tigers after joining the club from the Knights in 2022.

He scored seven tries from 18 appearances this season including a double in Wests Tigers’ record win over the Cowboys in Round 12, and another two tries in his last match of the season against the Warriors in Round 24.

“We are super excited to have Starford sign on for a further two years,” said new head coach Benji Marshall.

“He has shown great potential, and we look forward to seeing him bring out his best in the coming years.”

CEO Justin Pascoe says it’s another key signing as the club enters a new era under Marshall.

“It’s wonderful to have Starford locked in to a long-term deal,” said Pascoe.

Not just a talented player, Star is a quality person reflecting the standards and traits we want in our playing roster.

To’a was this week named in a 22-man squad for Tonga’s upcoming three-test series in England.

“I’m really proud and excited to have been selected for Tonga and I’m looking forward to the trip to England,” said To’a.

After that I can’t wait to start a new chapter for our club under Benji.
