Twenty Wests Tigers development players are eagerly preparing for next week’s Cubs’ Tour to Northern NSW.
The talented Under 16s team has been selected from Wests Tigers Cubs Program (White) and will play a game against a Gold Coast Titans team at Bilambil in the Tweed Shire next Thursday.
White Cubs is for players aiming to progress from Development programs to Harold Matthews Cup in 2024. The program has focussed on education and skill development, culminating with next week’s road trip.
The squad will depart for Byron Bay this Sunday and will be involved in several activities and sessions including physical training, wellbeing workshops and community visits.
Wests Tigers Wellbeing & Education Officer, Feleti Mateo will be among a group of five tour leaders including coach, Tony Bazouni.
