Wests Tigers Women In League Luncheon

Wests Tigers Women in League Luncheon took centre stage at Royal Randwick Racecourse this week, celebrating our inaugural season in the NRLW.

Hosted by Sam Squires, the event acknowledged the increasingly important role that women play in Australian sport.

Distinguished guests included Paralympic swimmer Ellie Cole, Sydney Kings Assistant Coach Fleur McIntyre, and Indigenous activist and author, Marlee Silva.

Also in attendance were several of the current NRLW team and CEO of Zurich Australia & NZ Justin Delaney.

A Women in League panel featuring NRLW Co-Captain Kezie Apps, Wests Tigers GM Women’s and Pathways, Matthew Betsey, and Amy Koroisau, shined a light on the challenges and opportunities facing women in our game.

Wests Tigers NRLW team takes on the Sydney Roosters as part of a NRLW-NRL double-header at Allianz Stadium on Saturday.
