This week’s episode of Behind the Roar celebrates Wests Tigers entry into the NRLW, ahead of Sunday’s very first against the Eels.

Episode 22 of Behind The Roar drops on Wednesday afternoon on Apple, Spotify and YouTube.

We talk to three of our NRLW team’s key recruits ahead of Sunday’s season-opener - Sarah Togatuki, Rikeya Horne and Jakiya Whitfeld.

It’s a lighted-hearted chat just a few days before all three ladies make their Wests Tigers debut.

We hear some truly inspiring stories from these ladies who somehow manage to juggle work, life and football.

One is a former banker and tough as nails middle forward.

One is a forklift operator who is considered a ‘NRLW veteran’ at just 23 years of age.

And one juggles four jobs away from football, including two days a week at a behavioural mental health school.

We talk plenty of footy too.  About areas that need improving after last week’s trial loss to the Sharks, and what to expect from the Eels on Sunday.

Hope you enjoy this week’s episode of Behind the Roar.
