Api Koroisau is set to take the field for the first time since breaking his jaw against the Gold Coast Titans in Round 15.
Alex Twal will also make his return from suspension via the interchange bench, where he will be joined by Jake Simpkin, Shaun Blore and Alex Seyfarth.
Newcastle have named a largely unchanged lineup, but will be sweating on the availability of Bradman Best and Jacob Saifiti following the pair’s appearance in tonight’s State of Origin clash at Accor Stadium.
