Wests Tigers forward Chris Faagutu has been selected to represent Queensland in next week’s Men’s Under 19s State of Origin match against New South Wales.

The 2022 Australian Schoolboys representative has enjoyed an impressive first season with Wests Tigers after playing in the NRL Pre-season Challenge against the Warriors.
The 19-year-old played a full season in SG Ball for Wests Magpies and five games in Jersey Flegg before making his NSW Cup debut last weekend.
“It’s a great achievement for Chris and all pathways players who have gained Origin selection," said Matthew Betsey, General Manager - Women's and Pathways.
"This reflects their hard work and consistency this season.
They should all be very proud, just as we are as a club.”
