Match Preview: Round 14 vs Raiders

Wests Tigers will be chasing their fourth victory in the past five matches when they return to Campbelltown to face the Canberra Raiders on Friday night.

Tim Sheens and his side will be hoping they can carry momentum into the clash following the club’s record-breaking victory at Leichhardt Oval in Round 12.

Wests Tigers have only made one change from the squad that scored 66 points against the Cowboys, with Joe Ofahengaue departing the club to join the Parramatta Eels.

He’ll be replaced in the starting lineup by Fonua Pole, with Alex Seyfarth named on the interchange bench.

Skipper Api Koroisau has been named for the clash, which will kick off just 48 hours after the hooker makes his fourth State of Origin appearance for the NSW Blues.

For the visitors, Ricky Stuart has elected to rest Jarrod Croker so he can play his 300th match at home, while Hudson Young has also been named to back up from his Origin debut.

Wests Tigers have won seven of their eleven matches against the Raiders at Campbelltown Sports Stadium, dating back to 2001.
