Pathways Preview: Round 12

There’s a full day of footy in store at Leichhardt Oval for Wests Tigers fans, so be sure to get there nice and early.

The Knock On Effect NSW Cup

Western Suburbs take on Penrith in the opening match of the day, with both sides sitting on twelve competition points this season.

The likes of Daine Laurie, Justin Matamua and Brandon Tumeth are set to feature, in what looks sure to be a tightly contested match.

A win would edge the Magpies closer to a spot in the competition’s Top 5.

Note: This match will also be broadcast live on Foxtel/Kayo.

Jersey Flegg Cup (U21s)

In the final curtain-raiser before the NRL fixture kicks off at 5:30 pm, look out for some of the club’s young talent in the Jersey Flegg Cup match against Penrith.

Josh Feledy has proved hard to handle since making the jump from SG Ball earlier this year, and will look to continue his rich vein of form against a strong Panthers outfit.

Sione Vaihu and new recruit Iverson Matai are just a few of the other promising youngsters to keep an eye on in this clash, while Wests SG Ball player Chris Faagutu is set to make his Jersey Flegg debut, off the bench.
