Western Suburbs Magpies have defeated Penrith Panthers 28-8 in Round 9 of the Knock On Effect NSW Cup in Bathurst.
It's the Magpies fifth win of the season and follows an impressive win over Blacktown Workers last weekend.
Jack Boyling reverted back to his preferred position of second row this week, and the workhorse forward scored the first two tries of the match.
Outside backs Livai Saukuru and Semisi Kioa crossed next to extend the Magpies lead, with Penrith scoring their first before half-time to make it a 22-4 at the break.
Panthers winger Tom Jenkins collected his eighth try of the season to open the second-half scoring, however the Wests defence held firm in the wet for the remainder of the contest.
A 78th minute converted try to fullback Daine Laurie sealed the result for the Magpies in a well-deserved victory.
