Wests Tigers Head of High Performance Peter Moussa provides an injury update heading into Saturday's Round 9 match against the Panthers in Bathurst.
Charlie Staines is expected to be out of action for between 8-12 weeks after suffering a small bowel perforation in the second half of the team’s Round 8 loss to the Sea Eagles.
Staines played out the match but developed increasing pain post-game. He has since undergone surgery and is in a stable condition and progressing slowly as expected.

Adam Doueihi is preparing to undergo reconstructive surgery after suffering an ACL rupture on Easter Monday. His return to play is estimated at 12-16 months.
