Match Preview: ANZAC Round vs Sea Eagles

Wests Tigers will be looking for a rejuvenated performance when they return from the bye to face the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

This match will be the first of the year played at one of the club's two spiritual homes which is set to host three games in 2023.

For the home side, Tim Sheens has elected to name livewire fullback Jahream Bula for his first NRL match with Charlie Staines shifting onto the wing.

Staines will be joined out wide by Junior Tupou, who impressed with one try, one try assist and 221 running metres on Easter Monday.

With the devastating news of Adam Doueihi’s season-ending ACL injury, Brendon Wakeham is set to partner Luke Brooks in the halves with Daine Laurie providing spark off the interchange bench.

Tommy Talau will don the seventeen jersey as he makes his return from a broken nose sustained at Leichhardt Oval in Round 2.

Manly are set to welcome back Reuben Garrick and Josh Schuster for the match, with former Wests Tigers back rower Kelma Tuilagi missing due to a concussion.

Both sides have evenly split their last twelve encounters against one another, emerging victorious in six games including one each at Campbelltown.
