Wests Tigers are heading to the Southern Highlands on Monday in the build up to the team’s Anzac Round match against Manly Sea Eagles at Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

The club will hold an open training session for members and fans at Mittagong Sports Ground at 10am, coinciding with the launch of the new junior league season in Macarthur and Group 6 regions.

Following training the players and coaching staff will take part in a ‘meet and greet’ session, signing autographs and posing for pics.

Wests Tigers official merchandise will also be available for sale through the Roarstore, there’ll be team poster giveaways, a pass-the-ball zone, and a coffee van serving refreshments.

Big turnout at Narellan Town Centre in December

Come along and meet the team in Mittagong and then ‘show your stripes’ at Campbelltown Sports Stadium for our Round 8 clash against the Sea Eagles on Sunday 23rd April.

Community Manager, Keehan Diamond is expecting strong local support for Monday’s event.

“Using previous events in the south-west and southern highlands as a guide, I think this will also be very popular,” said Diamond.

“Our players were swamped in pre-season at Camden Square, and then also very well received at some of the Christmas Toy Drive visits in Campbelltown and Bowral.

It’s a great opportunity for our club and the Southern Highlands community.
