Pathways Preview: Easter Weekend

There are three games in store this weekend for our pathways sides, including the NSW Cup curtain raiser to Easter Monday’s Showstopper.

The Knock On Effect NSW Cup - Western Suburbs

After returning to the winners circle last weekend, the Magpies face Parramatta at Accor Stadium on Monday afternoon.

Brandon Wakeham returns to the side at halfback, with the playmaker a big factor in Wests two victories to open their season.

Parramatta has also named a strong line-up with the likes of Waqa Blake, Matt Doorey and Mitch Rein turning out for the Eels.

This match will be broadcast live on Foxtel/Kayo.

Jersey Flegg Cup (U/21s)

In a Good Friday blockbuster at Lidcombe, Wests Tigers take on Parramatta in the Jersey Flegg Cup.

In a big boost for the home side, Josh Feledy returns to the squad after missing the last two weeks with an elbow injury.

Both teams currently sit on six competition points heading into this Round 6 clash.

Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership

In an extremely tight Women’s Premiership competition, Wests Tigers will look to rocket up the table with a win over Wentworthville at Ringrose Park tomorrow.

Rebecca Pollard lines up at fullback this week, with the classy back joining Pauline Piliae-Rasabale, Emily Curtain and Ebony Prior in an impressive spine.

Only two competition points separates fifth and tenth place in the NSW Women’s Premiership this season, with Wests Tigers desperate to score a Round 10 victory.

UNE SG Ball Cup (U/19’s) - Western Suburbs

Western Suburbs have this week off, before they play their Week 1 Finals match next Saturday afternoon.

More details on that fixture will be provided next week, with the game to be broadcast live on NSWRLTV via Facebook.
