Here’s your chance to rub shoulders with 'our champions' at Wests Tigers inaugural Heroes Dinner on Thursday 13th April.
This prestigious event is being hosted by Wests Tigers Foundation with funds raised assisting Wests Tigers elite development.
Everywhere you look, you’ll spot a champion who has represented Western Suburbs, Balmain, or Wests Tigers.
These heroes helped build the very foundations of this club, and will now reunite to help Wests Tigers Foundation raise funds for elite development.
There’ll be the likes of ‘Joe Cool’, also known as John Dorahy, who played 102 games for Wests Magpies in the 70s.
From the 80s and 90s will be a host of Balmain greats including ‘Benny’, ‘Blocker’, ‘Junior’, ‘Sirro’, ‘Jimmy’ and ‘Brash’.
And of course, there’ll be some champions from the class of 2005, including Benji Marshall and Wests Tigers current (and former) head coach, Tim Sheens.
Representing Wests Tigers women’s team ahead of its inaugural season in the NRLW, will be Botille Vette-Welsh, and one of the pioneers of women’s rugby league in this country, Tarsha Gale.
There are sure to be some entertaining yarns from this lot. And a heads up, some of what you hear may need to stay in the room!
Wests Tigers Heroes Dinner will be hosted by popular Fox Sports presenter, Yvonne Sampson.
There will also be the opportunity to purchase one of thirteen limited edition jerseys, signed by the below legends:
