This weekend's pathways preview includes a five-match schedule at Campbelltown.

Knock On Effect NSW Cup - Western Suburbs

Western Suburbs will be out to re-enter the winners circle on Saturday as they return to their spiritual home of Lidcombe Oval for the first time this season.

The additions of key performers, Justin Matamua and Will Smith will boost the side against a strong North Sydney team who also sit on four competition points.

Jersey Flegg Cup (U/21s)

Wests Tigers are presented with their first away trip of the season in Round 4, travelling to Melbourne to take on the Storm.

Lock/hooker, Cayne Nicholas makes his return to the Jersey Flegg Cup team after making his NSW Cup debut last weekend.

Balmain SG Ball Cup graduate John Tuipulotu makes his first start in the Jersey Flegg Cup side at prop.

Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership

The Wests Tigers senior women’s side will be desperate for a win this Saturday at Campbelltown, as they take on a star-studded North Sydney Bears.

The battle of the halves will be most intriguing, with impressive Wests Tigers duo Emily Curtain and Pauline Piliae-Rasabale coming up against international stars Nita Maynard and Kirra Dibb.

Harvey Norman Tarsha Gale Cup (U/19s)

Prior to the NSW Women’s Premiership clash, Wests Tigers’ Tarsha Gale Cup team faces the Bears at 1:00 pm.

The return of Tiana-Lee Thorne pushes Ashanti Pennell to five-eighth, with Abby Crane also a big inclusion for this side at centre.

This match is the fourth of a five-match schedule at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Saturday.

UNE SG Ball Cup (U/19s) - Western Suburbs

The Magpies take on the Bears this Saturday, as Wests look to give themselves some breathing room further up the ladder, with only two rounds remaining before finals.

The spine of Mason, Galvin, Clarke and Da Silva will prove crucial to securing victory in this clash, with Da Silva in particular emerging as one of the form players in the SG Ball Cup competition.

The young hooker was part of Wests’ Harold Matthews Cup premiership-winning side in 2022.

UNE SG Ball Cup (U/19s) - Balmain

Balmain’s SG Ball side comes into this clash on a high after their win last week, and will be looking for two away victories on the trot when they take on the Storm in Melbourne.

A big Round 7 performance from the side’s forward pack gave Levi Conti and Jonathan Ibrahim more time & control in the halves, with the likes of Elijah Mataale and Keenan Lawandos looking to do the same this weekend.

UNE Harold Matthews Cup (U/17s) - Western Suburbs

A new-look Magpies team takes on the Bears who sit at the foot of the ladder coming into this clash.

The likes of Cooper Rauhihi and Chase Hepi have been granted their first starts of the season in the first game of a five-match schedule at Campbelltown this Saturday.

UNE Harold Matthews Cup (U/17s) - Balmain

Balmain’s Harold Matthews Cup team needs a win to remain in the hunt for a finals spot in 2023, with a big clash on the Central Coast awaiting the young Tigers.

The Alex Conti-led Balmain side will once again look to his prop forwards Edwin Langi and Dougie Tuala to lay a platform for him to create chances on the back of.

Lisa Fiaola Cup (U/17s)

In the final match of five at Campbelltown on Saturday, Wests Tigers’ Lisa Fiaola Cup girls will look to overcome a strong Illawarra side at 4:00 pm.

After starting their season with a win and a loss, this young side will be looking to their strong forward pack to provide opportunities downfield for their speedy outside backs to flourish
