Team Update: Round 3 vs Bulldogs

Wests Tigers squad has been trimmed to 19 players ahead of Sunday's Round 3 match against Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.

English recruit John Bateman and former Bulldogs half Brandon Wakeham will make their first NRL appearance this season, as will winger Junior Tupou.

Bateman has been named to start at second row for his Wests Tigers' debut, pushing Shawn Blore to the bench.

Missing from the squad this week are Jake Simpkin (concussion protocols), Tommy Talau (broken nose), Daine Laurie (knee), and Isaiah Papaliā€™i (one match suspension).
