Movie Night at the new Concord Oval Community and Sports Precinct

Thanks to Canada Bay Council, enjoy a cinema experience like no other at Australian Night at the Movies on Wednesday, 25 January 2023.

Bring your picnic blanket and come along to Concord Oval from 4–10pm for food trucks, free entertainment and more, before a free movie screening of Go Karts (PG) under the stars at 8pm.

Make sure you take the time to say hello to our Wests Tigers Community team who will be onsite in support of this unique event, as will players from our NSW Women's Premiership team.

In addition to the movie, attendees can also look forward to:

  • Sporting activities on the oval with Wests Tigers
  • Food trucks and bar area (with Akasha Brewing)
  • Demos and activities by local sporting groups
  • Tours of the new Concord Oval Recreation Centre
  • Charity colour fun run supporting the Children's Tumour Foundation
  • Children’s rides
  • Smoking Ceremony and Welcome to Country
  • Ngumpie weaving workshops with Indigenous artist Tegan Murdock
  • Goanna Hut Indigenous barbecue
  • Music performances

On-lead dogs are welcome along for the fun. Limited parking will be available at the new Concord Oval Recreation Centre with access from Gipps Street, with additional parking available in the Gipps Street car park and at Cintra Park tennis and netball courts.
