There’s plenty happening in and around the club in the lead up to Christmas, as our NRL team launches into Week 4 of pre-season training.

It was one in, all in on Thursday with the entire playing squad and administrative staff based in Campbelltown.

First up was the start to Wests Tigers annual Christmas Toy Drive at Campbelltown Hospital, where Joe Ofahengaue and Alex Seyfarth spread some Christmas cheer, delivering presents to sick children.

Ofahengaue says it's a heart warming experience for the players.

This is one community event that I know all the players look forward to."

After a full day of training the team then headed to Narellan Town Centre for a 'Meet the Players' session in the evening.

This is our club's flagship high school community program which is delivered to schools in Sydney's Inner West, South Western Sydney and Southern Highlands regions. The program has been delivered to 30 schools since its inception in 2020.

Fast forward to Saturday and the club will again be lending its support to the Macarthur & Southern Highlands community at the ‘Rocking Around Campbelltown event’.

This week caps off a busy month of community engagement for Wests Tigers in the Southwest, following on from the Picton League Tag Carnival supporting the Wollondilly Shire, and last Friday’s Driving out Violence Convoy and Fishers Ghost Festival.

Wests Tigers Community Manager, Keehan Diamond says the club’s work in the community is about making a difference.

"Our work these past few weeks and leading up to Christmas is about helping others facing difficulty this festive season,” said Diamond.

Our mission statement is to enrich the lives of our community.
