The latest edition of Ask the Boss, our monthly catch-up with Wests Tigers CEO, Justin Pascoe, has dropped.
This month’s episode features an in-depth chat with club legend Benji Marshall. He talks openly about his remarkable playing career, life after footy, and his new role as an assistant coach under Tim Sheens.
In a nutshell, Marshall is loving life as an emerging coach.
“I get to have an impact on planning and teaching young guys skills they haven’t seen before,” Marshall told Pascoe.
“But the biggest thing for me, is about purpose.
I come to training every day with a clear purpose, and it’s something that when you retire, you miss.
Benji Marshall
“Having purpose back here at this great club is something I don’t take for granted.
I wake up every morning genuinely wanting to get to training.”

Benji and Justin also touch on Wests Tigers new podcast which will launch in the new year, and we’re looking for a name.
