Liddle released from contract

Wests Tigers has agreed to release Jacob Liddle from the final year of his contract, paving the way for his move to St George Illawarra Dragons.

Liddle has played 75 NRL games over seven seasons for the Wests Tigers, making his first-grade debut for the club in 2016.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe has praised the departing hooker who he says is an ‘outstanding person’.

“An opportunity presented itself at the Dragons for Jacob and it’s an outcome that works for all parties,” said Pascoe.
