Wests Tigers would like to congratulate Luke Garner on being nominated for the 2022 Ken Stephen Medal Man of the Year.

The Ken Stephen Medal recognises the efforts of an NRL player who has not only achieved on the field, but has committed time off the field to community projects.

Garner gives back with What Ability

Wests Tigers Community Manager Keehan Diamond says Luke is never one to shy away from a good cause, "He has gone above and beyond support the community at every opportunity, not just this year, but in previous years too.

"He is never one to say no to a worthwhile cause.

You can tell he genuinely enjoys helping others and making a valuable contribution to the community."

Luke’s passion for supporting the disability sector is also evident in his service to the What Ability Foundation, where he gave up his time to host modified rugby league sessions.

There are several other initiatives Luke has given his time to support this season including Beyond Blue's 'play your role' campaign.
