Match Preview: Round 21 vs Newcastle Knights

Wests Tigers will be hoping to continue their strong form when they return home to host the Newcastle Knights at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Last week’s victory in Brisbane was Brett Kimmorley’s first triumph as head coach, and he will be hoping to guide his side to back-to-back wins as the club celebrates its own Women in League Round.

In team news, the injury to Jackson Hastings provides an opportunity for Fonua Pole to make the second starting appearance of his young career.

Pole will line-up at lock with 27 year-old Tom Freebairn making his NRL debut off the interchange bench.

Wests Tigers have a strong record against the Knights, winning seven of the past eleven clashes between the two sides and six of the last eight at Campbelltown.
