Injury Report: Round 10

Several injured Wests Tigers players are working hard in rehab and edging closer to being available for selection.

Daine Laurie is expected to commence running in the next few days. The livewire fullback suffered a grade two MCL (knee) injury in the team’s Round 7 win over Souths and is tracking for a return-to-play date around R12-R14.

James Roberts is recovering well after undergoing surgery to fix a lower back injury. The plan is for Roberts to commence running next week with an approximate return-to-play date in R14/R15.

Another outside back on the mend is Tommy Talau. The 22-year-old continues to build volume in his running following an ACL injury in Round 25 last season.  Talua still has a few boxes to tick but is aiming to be available for selection for the final month of the regular season.

Adam Doueihi is back in modified team training after undergoing a knee reconstruction late last season. He remains on track for a return-to-play date in or around Round 14.

David Nofoaluma is expected to be available for selection next week following a head knock in Round 9 against Manly. He’s not been included in the squad for this weekend’s Magic Round match against North Queensland.
