Wests Tigers will launch its 2022 campaign on Saturday, 12th March when Michael Maguire’s side host the Melbourne Storm at CommBank Stadium.

Not since 2005 have Wests Tigers been the home team for its season opener and lost, with the club looking to make it nine wins in a row when they take on the Storm.

Wests Tigers will spend plenty of time on the road inside the opening month of the season with away fixtures to Newcastle (Round 2), Gold Coast (Round 4) and Cronulla (Round 5).

Campbelltown Sports Stadium will host its first game on Friday, 25th March when Wests Tigers welcome the New Zealand Warriors to town in Round 3, with Sunday afternoon fixtures against the Sea Eagles (Round 14) and Newcastle (Round 21) later in the year.

The club’s first home game at Leichhardt Oval will be on Friday, 20th May against the Bulldogs before taking on the Parramatta Eels in Round 17 and Canberra Raiders in Round 25 at the venue.

Parramatta’s trip to the suburban venue will in fact be the first time since 2013 the two sides have played there, with Wests Tigers winning each of the last three games played between the two sides at Leichhardt Oval.
