There were plenty of smiles during Sydney's lockdown this week as Wests Tigers five-eighth Adam Doueihi arranged for a very special delivery for one of the club's biggest fans.
Doueihi, who is currently recovering from ACL surgery, arranged for his goal-kicking tee to be sent to Lachlan — a proud fan of both the club and the 23-year-old Doueihi.
"To Lachlan, head down, follow through," Doueihi wrote on the tee.
"Tigers, 2K22, signed Adam Doueihi #227."
The delivery was certainly one that brought with it a pretty big smile — perfect timing for young Lachlan with the start of school holidays this week!
Doueihi's goal-kicking was a positive for the club in 2021 with the Lebanon international converting at a career-high 79.31%, the highest of any Wests Tigers regular goal-kicker in a season since Pat Richards in 2014 (85.71%).
