Wests Tigers are proud to support leading community organisation Settlement Services International (SSI) as part of the club's Round 24 game against the Penrith Panthers this Sunday.
SSI is a community organisation and social business that supports newcomers and other Australians to achieve their full potential — working with all people who have experienced vulnerability, refugees and people seeking asylum and culturally to build their capacity and enable them to overcome inequality.
As a long-time Charity Partner of the club, Wests Tigers is proud to highlight the countless ways in which SSI contributes to the community, helping those affected by inequality in a range of tangible, meaningful and practical ways.
At a local level, SSI's "Pay it Forward" campaign allows for people to purchase care packages for the vulnerable in their community during the COVID pandemic.
Donating just $30 for an individual care package or $50 for a family care package will support the vulnerable for two weeks with items such as long-lasting food staples, basic household essentials and personal hygiene products.

However, the great work of SSI doesn't end in Sydney with its impact felt right around the world as it plays its part in the growing Afghanistan crisis.
SSI's contribution to the Afghani community living in Australia and abroad is significant, with a range of different support mechanisms available for people.
