Wests Tigers are pleased to announce that Kelma Tuilagi has been promoted to the club’s NRL squad for the remainder of the 2021 season.
The 22-year-old Tuilagi originally started the season on a Development contract but has been rewarded for his continued effort and improvement throughout the year with the final spot in the club’s NRL squad.
Tuilagi is already signed as part of Wests Tigers’ NRL squad for the 2022 season.
A Glenora Bears junior, Tuilagi represented the Junior Kiwis in 2018 before signing with the Melbourne Storm, where he featured heavily in the Intrust Super Cup competition with Easts Tigers. Joining Wests Tigers for the start of the 2021 season, the talented back-rower featured predominantly for the club’s Knock-On Effect NSW Cup side, Western Suburbs Magpies, before becoming Wests Tigers Player #249 with his first-grade debut last weekend against the New Zealand Warriors.
Tuilagi has retained his place in the side for Sunday’s clash against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, having been named on the bench.
