Wests Tigers Coach Michael Maguire has made several changes for his side’s Round 18 clash against the Brisbane Broncos at Suncorp Stadium this Sunday.

After having the bye in Round 17, Maguire has named a new-look side for this week’s clash with two debutants to feature — Junior Pauga named to start at centre while Tuki Simpkins will join the bench.

Pauga and Simpkins will become the 247th and 248th players respectively to feature for Wests Tigers.

With Pauga included in the side, Adam Doueihi shifts back to five-eighth with Moses Mbye reverting to the bench, where he joins three forwards in Simpkins, Alex Twal and Joe Ofahengaue. Thomas Mikaele has been named at lock for the first time in his career while Stefano Utoikamanu starts in the front row after featuring as 20th Man for the New South Wales Origin squad.

Michael Chee Kam, Tommy Talau, Alex Seyfarth and Shawn Blore round out the 21-man squad as reserves.

For the Broncos, Origin representatives Payne Haas, Xavier Coates and Thomas Flegler have been named to back up from Origin III on Wednesday night.

Kobe Hetherington has retained the No.13 jersey after getting a late chance to start in Round 16 while Cory Paix and Flegler come on to the interchange with centre Jesse Arthars Ethan Bullemor dropping to the reserves.

Wests Tigers players and staff will travel to Brisbane on Wednesday as the club joins 11 other sides in relocating to South East Queensland due to the ongoing COVID situation.
